The Rock Lobster first appeared in Save The Rock Lobster!
He was in a band, but got caught in a fisherman's lobster trap. The Wonder Pets convinced him to use his pincers to cut his way out of the trap. He later invited them to his rock concert, where he sang a verse about them saving him.
